A Prayer Different From All Others

God’s “Female Friends”

In the early period of Islam’s existence, the term “God’s companion” (“buddy of God”) was used, referring to all Christians living in hundreds of sects in the Middle East.

The Prophet Muhammad proclaimed that God is one, having no equal. Therefore, the Christian belief that Jesus is equal to God was compared to a group of companions—people sharing common goals, abilities, and presumably even a meeting place and a setting for shared feasts. Among such companions, God became one of many familiar figures. This group, guided by its own interests, governs people from a distance, appointing various intermediaries, including priests.

The word “buddy” does not add prestige, as it has a somewhat depreciating tone in context. It sounds different from “colleague,” although in practice it amounts to the same.

Since God and the human Jesus are of the male gender, it is not difficult to assume that there exists a large group of “God’s female friends,” possessing divine powers and especially divine beauty.

Presumably, among such goddesses one could encounter media stars—actresses, singers, and others admired by millions of men.

I think that God’s daughters-in-law cannot be included in the group of “God’s female friends.”

Today in Poland, there are 300 legal wives of Jesus Christ (Link.). This would mean one wife per county-level city, including yours, dear reader. However, God’s daughters-in-law are also thousands of other women scattered around the world, and they are not nuns.

It has become accepted that only bishops can currently grant a Catholic marriage to a Jewish man named Jesus who died 2000 years ago.
