A Prayer Different From All Others

Bless Me, God — and One’s Own and Others’ “Blessings”

At the suggestion of a priest, I once waited in a temple for a blessing. He prayed the words, “Bless, God…”. I opened my hands and saw golden light flowing in.

An hour later, I myself asked on behalf of someone else, “Bless him, God,” which brought a healing effect.

However, blessings do not come only from God. And if they are not from God, then their dimension is idolatrous, when someone just like everyone else tries to replace God in His activity.

Blessings are performed, among other ways:

– With holy water
– With incense, through fumigation
– With alcohol or a dose of a narcotic
– By one’s own word — for example, someone says that they bless another person
– In India, in tantra, blessings are given with sexual organs. In Russia, Rasputin did this to a group of women using his penis. In India, but also in Buddhism, images of penises stand in front of temples and as altars, granting appropriate blessings according to their own capacity. According to the principle: “If you do not want God’s blessings, then perhaps these…”

“I have a question about blessing. I use a technique according to Huna. I have a photo of some stranger from the internet and every day before this photo I wish this person joy, happiness, health, prosperity, love, freedom from illness, wonderful and beautiful moments, respect, kindness, honesty from all people, from all beings — and after these words, should I repeat the word ‘light’ several times? After about three weeks of systematically repeating this technique, I felt sympathy and respect for the person I used to dislike, and my anger and desire for revenge toward this person disappeared. I myself feel pleasant emotions in my chest after such a blessing — warmth, I feel light and good. What do you think about this technique? Can it be used?” From a received letter.

Please do the same with a picture of the Earth — for all humanity, for all souls, beings, animals, and plants.
