How should I best work for God?

Many people asked Edgar Cayce for individual readings and would ask:
“In what way should I best work for God?”
Should I do something special? Go somewhere?

The consistent answer was:
“Work where you are now.”

That is:
within your own family, among your closest relatives—live and act in such a way that the bright divine light is even more visible on Earth through your words and actions.

“Every day, ask God what and how you can do better,” without yielding to missions or astral suggestions.

The mechanism of all “mission-driven thinking” was clearly identified by Leszek Żądło as a karmic burden. Cayce explained that God does not care about sending anyone to the ends of the world for any purpose.

It is good when a person:

• cultivates proper marital relationships,
• raises children to be upright citizens,
• earns a safe and honest living.

He said that if Jesus lived in modern times, even working as a stockbroker, he would act ethically and innocently.
