“I and God Are One” ????????
From a received letter
“I have my own methods for living and I try not to fragment things, but to hold to Unity.
Everything depends on my thoughts, so I don’t look for problems where there are none… I am UNITY.
I am wholeness, complete. I have no need to divide things into soul, God, personality. I am that which Is. I and God are one.”
In the opinions expressed in the letter there is no final conclusion. It may be of two kinds and lead in two different directions. As the example of India, China, Egypt, and even Christian sects shows, in spirituality the shortcut path is attractive.
I believe that unity with God, in the context of your earlier statements, leads to some form of idolatry, especially with the influences of the White Astral now visible.
You did not specify in your views what this attained unity with God actually is.
Is it the unity of you—and of a soul that thinks differently—with God in striving toward the same goal: Enlightenment?
Unity in carrying out God’s plan.
Unity in the desire to support others, within one’s abilities.
Unity in caring for marital happiness and a wonderful family home.
Unity in caring for finances.
Unity in caring for safety.
In my conviction, you will never become energetic unity with God—neither you nor your soul. God will not absorb you into Himself so that you become ONE with Him intellectually or physically, and expectations and conclusions that this is ALREADY the case can be drawn from the letters and conversations.
Cleanse your intentions Link and perhaps you will receive an insight flowing from within, through the heart, about what is possible when a human being and his soul follow God in the same direction. You and your soul have your own will independent of the divine; you have different access to energy, a different creativity. A measure of surrender to God is also the effectiveness of creative actions—that is, everything that appears as a result of expectations, prayers.
We need a deep understanding of every word and every request directed to God. For among the pieces of information that come to us, one of them may also, in return, come from Him. And if you are expecting a divine answer, you cannot at the same time constitute unity with an external source of knowledge that is to heal you, lead you, or inform you about facts that are currently unknown.
