I Experience God Through My Own Heart. Affirmations
Co-author: Ela Śliwa
Together with my own Soul, I ask God through my own heart.
Together with my own Soul, I experience God through my own heart.
Together with my own Soul, I seek God through my own heart.
Together with my own Soul, I express the presence of God within me through my own heart.
Together with my own Soul, I communicate with God through my own heart.
Together with my own Soul, I connect with God through my own heart.
Together with my own Soul, I express the clear and pure energies of God within me through my own heart.
Together with my own Soul, I experience God through my own heart.
Together with my own Soul, I communicate with God through my own heart, without any intermediaries.
Example:
Once I asked God about a certain matter. The answer came precisely through the energetic heart—in fact through the heart chakra—which pulsed for several hours. Along with it, there was a verbal message that repeated continuously. The point was for me to know where the information was coming from.

Hello, if affirmations should be in completed and positive form, then reading the phrase “I seek God through my own heart” makes me want to replace it with something like “I have found God through my own heart.”

A very valid remark. Ela wrote this at a time when she didn’t just have a difficulty, but a real problem—and it resolved beautifully after the prayer.
However, I will defend her licentia poetica, because in many sects people seek God through living gods, intermediaries, divine mothers, gurus, priests, etc.
Małgorzata Krata writes (23/06/2019, 13:55):
I realized that when working with God and with Souls, motivation and the reasons why someone wants to pray are very important. The most common motivation is problems and the desire to straighten out troubling issues such as health, finances, loneliness, etc. One could say this is turning toward God in order to resolve a few earthly matters through Him.
Perhaps this corresponds to a type of motivation in the Soul—that it has become so entangled that there is no other way and it cannot resolve its issues alone or with other Souls. I also don’t know whether such a “negative” motivation is enough in the long term. Maybe it is—or only until the problems are solved.
Psychology tells us that the most valuable motivation for wanting to be with someone (here: with God) is love for that being. If one loves someone, it becomes a natural driving force—it draws one toward the object of love. One wants to be with the beloved, talk to them, have them close all the time, make time for them, and care about their well-being.
It is also known that if there is coldness and indifference in a relationship, there is no real enthusiasm for that being.
The conclusion is that for the journey toward God to be continuous, it cannot be sustained in the long term without love for Him—unless someone is constantly driven by negative motivation or unfulfilled needs (and then the question arises: what happens when fulfillment comes?).
One can also ask:
“How do you love someone who seems distant, about whom you know little, whom you barely know at all?”
And so arises another dilemma—how to build and expand that love for God.
I don’t recall anyone boasting about their (human) love for God. Most people are motivated by: “what can I get for myself here and now,” whereas toward a loved being one moves naturally, without being pushed or driven by life’s frustrations.
Sławomir Majda:
Love for a personal god is well described in religions—Jesus, Krishna, Vishnu, divine mothers. Toward God (in a more abstract sense), not so much.
Karol:
Gosia, what is love? There was talk about love for God, and I’m wondering what that actually is.
Małgorzata Krata:
It seems to me that it is a sense of inner happiness, bliss, joy—that at the very thought of God, the heart grows wings and rises in that feeling. It is a kind of bliss from the mere fact that God exists. It drives itself naturally and makes one want to seek and move in that direction.
