Karmic consequences of the affirmation “I am a Child of God.”
The familiar term Son of God, children of God, is known from Bible, formed within the nation of Israel.
For Christians, the Son of God is Jesus, and in principle only Him.
At the CUD forum or during regression sessions, there are people who affirm that they are “Children of God”; they talk about themselves as being “divine.” Let us see what this may be connected with and what effects it brings.
Son (child) of God is a term referring to ourselves and it is indeed true.
- Every Soul is a child of God.
- A human body created by God is also a child of God for
- the part of the Soul called consciousness, which, guided by its own intentions, administers that body for its own purposes or to express God’s will in the universe.
Let us now turn our attention more to the East, to India, where reincarnation is recognized as a fact, where once there appeared a real abundance of Living Gods. The Soul of a certain Hindu woman said that the best partner for her is God. I liked this wonderful affirmation – after all, what lofty aspirations… partnership with the almighty God.
Nothing of the sort. She meant a relationship (marriage, sex) with a Living God such as Shiva, Vishnu, Ganesha. Not God, but a living god is the goal here. She wanted to get hold of some chosen deity, entangle him so that he would become submissive to her will.
“Son of a god” (divine), in the context of that lady’s reflections (and she was not the only one), may lead to expectations that a human Soul could be reborn in some incarnation as a child in the family of a living god. I own a book with a list of 18,000 gods and deities – only those known today. And how many of them passed away together with their names, how many were forgotten by history yet remembered as gods by Souls? There are karmic paths leading to the fulfillment of such expectations and aspirations, to a closer acquaintance with such a god. For many, even today, it is important to appear in the family of a living god as a wife, son, or closest relative.
A safe affirmation seems to be a clear sentence: “I am a being of God’s light, God’s Love.”
Repeating it causes the Soul to free itself from beliefs that have so far darkened its energy. Convincing oneself and the Soul that “I am a being of God’s light, God’s Love” illuminates the chakras and the aura as an obvious effect. After all, the light is in us everywhere. It is a somewhat automatic process that cannot be stopped. A safe, innocent process and very simple to apply.
It is a short sentence bringing inner light, agreement with one’s own Soul, rather than another birth in some future incarnation into the environment of living gods.
As always in working with affirmations, what is important is the so-called reaction column – gathering the thoughts of one’s own Soul on a given subject. My Soul for several months evaluated only this issue: whether I and it are truly “a being of God’s light, God’s Love.”
