A Prayer Different From All Others

Kombucha as a Symbiont of Candida and Other Fungal Infections

I have determined that the Kombucha fungus, consumed in a sugary solution, attaches itself to strains of another fungus—Candida. These are not so much true symbionts as they are like-minded allies with a shared goal: feeding on the host organism. According to common recommendations, people drink monstrous quantities of this sugar-fermented liquid every day. After several years, this can lead to the fruiting of fungal growth on the skin in the form of brown spots, referred to as melanoma, which is an outward manifestation of internal fungal overgrowth in the body.

These spots on the skin can be compared to an edible mushroom protruding above the forest floor. Few people remember that beneath a porcini mushroom there is always an extensive network of mycelial roots. The coexistence of Candida and Kombucha produces, in some individuals, effects similar to a rocket being launched into space: successive stages of the rocket ignite one after another, and only the final stage is the decisive one. It does not have to result in cancer—it may manifest as indigestion or any number of other ailments.
