A Prayer Different From All Others

On False Beliefs About God – Intentions

Every religion, every priest, and every member of a given religious group speaks about false beliefs concerning God. According to such criteria, anyone who does not belong to a given religious group is considered to hold false views about God. How it truly is, therefore, is worth asking God Himself, submitting one’s own beliefs to Him for verification.
These intentions were compiled by Małgorzata Krata, based on knowledge drawn from conversations with religious individuals and from religious literature.

  1. Our being / not being rejected, abandoned, left alone by God, by Jesus, by the Blessed Virgin Mary and others; left in loneliness, suffering, pain, poverty, disgrace; exposed / not exposed to fate, to ourselves, without hope, without means of livelihood, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  2. Our being / not being oppressed, humiliated, trained, destroyed, abused, degraded, tested by God, by Jesus, by the Blessed Virgin Mary and others, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  3. Our being / not being observed, watched, followed, inspected, spied on by God, by Jesus, by the Blessed Virgin Mary and others, including for the purpose that God might record, note, catch, and assess our offenses, mistakes, transgressions, wrongdoings, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  4. Our being / not being summoned, called by God, by Jesus, by the Blessed Virgin Mary and others, to God for “the carpet,” examinations, interrogations, explanations, tests, including of our knowledge, conduct, deeds, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  5. Our being / not being rejected, abandoned, pushed away by God, by Jesus, by the Blessed Virgin Mary and others, including being left to fate due to contempt, disgust toward us, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  6. Our believing / not believing that God, Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary do not hear us, do not understand us, do not see us; that God has gone deaf or blind; that God has become numb, indifferent, lethargic, powerless; that God can no longer cope, has had enough, has taken offense at us and others and has gone off to deal with more interesting matters than us, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  7. Our thinking / not thinking, believing / not believing, demanding / not demanding that God, Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary decide for us, live for us, make choices for us even when we do not ask for it, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  8. Our thinking / not thinking, believing / not believing that God, Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary are not so wise, strong, powerful, omniscient, since there is so much wickedness, injustice, evil, war, suffering in the world and in our own lives, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  9. Our thinking / not thinking, believing / not believing that since God, Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary do not hear us, understand us, or respond to our prayers and requests, we must manage on our own, clenching our teeth in the face of adversity, suffering, misfortune, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  10. Our thinking / not thinking, believing / not believing that God, Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary sent us many representatives, helpers, intermediaries to take care of us, because God Himself has no time or desire to speak with ordinary people, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  11. Our thinking / not thinking, believing / not believing that as human beings we are not capable of talking with God, co-creating with Him, seeing Him, conducting dialogue and conversation; and that only after death are we able to experience God—though even that is uncertain—and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  12. Our thinking / not thinking, believing / not believing that since we have wasted our whole lives on illusions, idolatry, wrongdoing, harming and exploiting others, it is now too late for forgiveness, conversion, salvation, enlightenment; that we will no longer manage to co-create with God, and can only wait passively for events to unfold, including the worst—punishment, condemnation—and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  13. Our being / not being such a being who, seeing God’s helplessness, decided to replace Him, help the world in His stead like some Messiah, including cleansing the world of evil and wickedness, making oneself a true or false rider of the Apocalypse, a scourge of God, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  14. Our believing / not believing that although God once created the world successfully, He is now lost, no longer in control, has given up, waved it all off, does not care at all—about us included—and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  15. Our putting / not putting God to the test; setting conditions for God that we will believe in Him if He shows us something spectacular right now on demand, to prove His divine power, might, strength, and presence; and drawing conclusions that since God did not provide proof of His existence, He does not exist, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  16. Our having / not having ingrained habits and codings to speak only negatively about God, especially during our struggles and hardships, while failing to appreciate God’s presence when we are happy and successful, both in small and great matters, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  17. Our believing / not believing that everything good in our lives is coincidence or personal merit, while emphasizing that whenever things go badly it is God’s fault for not helping, not supporting, not loving, not guiding, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.

  20. Our thinking / not thinking, believing / not believing that God Himself is afraid of tyrants, psychopaths, despots, madmen whom He Himself created, and therefore hides from them, not wanting to confront them; thus we have no protection from God and can rely only on our own cunning, strength, weapons, allies, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  21. Our thinking / not thinking, believing / not believing that God makes mistakes and shortcomings, for example when looking at disabled people, unattractive people, the sick, human ugliness, defects, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.

Our being / not being treated by God reciprocally according to the saying “As Kuba treats God, so God treats Kuba”; and our thinking / not thinking, believing / not believing that God fights us to prove His rightness and our errors, to exalt Himself over us as all-seeing and all-knowing, to show how weak we are compared to Him and that we have no chance against God, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  25. Our thinking / not thinking, believing / not believing that God plays with us—our fate, suffering, clumsiness, confusion, weaknesses—like watching animals in a zoo, dolls, puppets, marionettes, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  26. Our being / not being forgotten, omitted by God while He distributed intellect, beauty, abundance, strength, beautiful bodies, opportunities to others; our believing / not believing that there was nothing left for us; our taking offense / not taking offense, raging / not raging at God, and thus living in unfulfillment, resentment, bitterness, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  27. Our believing / not believing that God expresses His various aspects through different deities and living gods, incarnating in narrowly specialized gods because He cannot handle everything alone, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  28. Our believing / not believing, thinking / not thinking that God deceives us, gives false information, misdirection, tricks, deception, creates appearances and bluffs while we await divine guidance, support, and suggestions; resulting in lack of trust in God and viewing God as a manipulator, and not only that, and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
  29. Our thinking / not thinking, believing / not believing that God is silent because He has little or nothing interesting to say to us; that we are not worthy partners for conversation; or that we are hopeless cases beyond help—even for God—and our experiencing / not experiencing all consequences thereof.
