A Prayer Different From All Others

Safety framing (to paste before the prayer)

If this concerns my health or the health of someone close to me, I treat this prayer as an examination of conscience and an intention-setting practice, and as a request for light, strength, and guidance. Prayer does not replace diagnosis or treatment; I make medical decisions responsibly and, in parallel, I seek appropriate medical care.

Prayer (a coherent, “literal” version for daily use)

God, Giver of Life, I ask You: open my heart, my Soul, and our entire being to Your will, Your light, and Your love.

I come to You together with my Soul in humility. We ask forgiveness for everything that has distanced us from You and that has brought fear, despair, unwillingness to live, unwillingness to face ourselves, and every attitude and choice that led toward illness, suffering, and destruction.

God, please remove from us all blockages, resistance, beliefs, and mechanisms that prevent us from receiving Your gifts, and that keep within us fear of health, fear of life, and fear of the future. I ask that, in Your order, You purify our intentions, habits, and desires from everything that is against life.

If in my body, psyche, emotions, or in my Soul there is any pattern of self-destruction, self-belittlement, resentment, anger, jealousy, bitterness, guilt, despair, or a desire for punishment—please show us the truth about it and free us from it in a safe and innocent way, according to Your criteria.

We forgive (my Soul and I) ourselves and other people for everything we have carried as a burden. We also forgive ourselves for not knowing how to love life and ourselves. We surrender to You, God, all consequences of those attitudes.

I also ask You, God, for protection: that no actions, influences, or whispers (external or internal) pull me and my Soul away from You—bringing confusion, distortion, distraction, or the desire to escape into resignation.

My Soul—please return to God together with me. Let us choose life, sobriety, clear presence, simplicity, and consent to what is good. Let us choose healing in Your light, God.

God, Giver of Life, I ask: guide me wisely through all decisions related to health. Grant me clarity, courage, patience, and peace. Give me the right people, the right examinations, the right treatment, and the right steps—and protect me from error, neglect, and despair.

I ask You, God: heal what is wounded in me—in my body, my heart, my mind, and my Soul. Fill me with Your love that restores order and heals. May Your light bring back harmony, balance, and peace.

I surrender to You, God, all fears connected with illness, all images and thoughts of dying, all “programs” of giving up, and everything that weakens me. I also surrender to You any burdens that do not come from You, and that have attached themselves to me—and I ask You to remove them and resolve them in Your order.

Thank You, God, Giver of Life, for Your care, for Your guidance, and for the fact that I can return to You always. I ask: teach me to live simply, honestly, in love, and in harmony with You.

Let Your will be done—for my good, for the good of my Soul, and for my neighbors, in all dimensions and times.
