A Prayer Different From All Others

The Voice of God, Seeking God. Intentions Based on the Bible

After two years of writing down various phenomena and burdens, I recalled one of the three Biblical quotes that Edgar Cayce often cited. He also claimed that the Bible contains many [wishful] influences from the people who wrote the texts, copyists, etc., so apart from a few verses, he did not particularly promote the rest.

The text is suitable for wonderful intentions. I would suggest writing them out independently.

“You will again listen to the voice of the Lord, fulfilling all the commands that I give you today.
The Lord your God will bless you in all the work of your hands, in the fruit of your womb, the offspring of your livestock, and the produce of your land. For the Lord will again rejoice in doing you good, as He rejoiced over your ancestors,
if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, keeping His commandments and statutes written in this Book of the Law, if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

For this commandment that I give you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it beyond your reach.
It is not in heaven, that you should say: ‘Who will go up to heaven for us and bring it to us so that we may hear it and do it?’
Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say: ‘Who will cross the sea for us and bring it to us so that we may hear it and do it?’
But the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it.

See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and adversity.
If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today, loving the Lord your God, walking in His ways, and keeping His commandments, decrees, and laws, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

But if your heart turns away and you do not listen, and you are led astray to bow down to other gods and serve them,
I declare to you this day that you shall surely perish. You shall not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live,
loving the Lord your God, obeying His voice, and holding fast to Him—for that means life to you and length of days in the land that the Lord swore to give to your ancestors.”

The text is beautiful if we assume that the message truly comes from God and that God personally gives this information to someone to pass on to future generations—including me and you, the reader.

Depending on translations, the text uses the words God, Lord, etc.
“…which the Lord swore to give to your ancestors.”

These are not identical, and just as with Reiki or pendulums—where anyone can attribute various powers—one could attribute such words to some “lord” from the neighborhood or an English lord, and not necessarily to God. Let us recall from the history of Hellas that there was also a satyr named Pan, known for playing the instrument called “Pan’s flute.”

We ourselves are responsible for the consequences of our words and must understand what and whom we are addressing. Because a response from a given “lord” will not be a response from God.

In common European understanding, “Lord” is also a synonym for Jesus, not God.
For a Hindu, there are many “lords” of divine origin—for example: Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna, and others.

Therefore, an important issue in intentions and prayer is to establish with God the very naming we use when addressing Him, so that there is no idolatry, even unintended.

The intentions are presented as a semi-finished product for independent work, showing only elements worth emphasizing.

Below I present two sentences from a set of intentions regarding gambling dens. Please note how extensively the issues are developed in side threads and how saturated the topic is.

Our life and existence, among others, in and through all kinds, levels, sizes of casinos, gambling dens, brothels, bars, entertainment venues, meeting places of all beings, people, souls, entities, creations, and treating these places, buildings, and the whole environment as our own home, as a temple, as a place of worship, and not only that, and experiencing all consequences of this.

Our joy, delight, sadness, suffering from our presence, fair play, gambling, cheating, and our work carried out in all kinds of casinos, gambling dens, brothels, bars, entertainment venues, private homes, families, and with the Creator, and not only that, and experiencing all consequences of this.

Similarly, by adding negations [–not], synonyms, and whatever comes to mind, we expand sentences taken from the Bible.

Sentence from the Bible:

“You will again listen to the voice of the Lord, fulfilling all the commands…”

How can it be expanded?

  1. Our being among those who again listen, who listen to the voice of the Lord/God/Creator, and also to voices of all kinds, ranks, levels, beings such as messiahs, gods, demigods, asuras, gurus, divine mothers, deviants, sociopaths, etc., and experiencing the consequences of this.
  2. Our fulfilling commands of all kinds, from various beings such as messiahs, gods, demigods, asuras, gurus, divine mothers, deviants, sociopaths, etc., and experiencing the consequences.

  3. Our giving and receiving various commands from the Lord/God/Creator and from all kinds of beings mentioned above, and experiencing the consequences.

Another sentence from the Bible:

“The Lord your God will bless you in all the work of your hands…”

How can it be expanded?

  1. Our being among those whose actions, fertility, family, prosperity, and produce are always, often, or rarely supported by the Lord/God/Creator, as well as by various beings such as messiahs, gods, demigods, asuras, gurus, divine mothers, deviants, sociopaths, etc., and experiencing the consequences.
  2. Our being among those who support other people, souls, beings, entities, animals, and others.

The word (–not) added in intention work means that it is worth expressing both the term and its opposite, including spontaneous synonyms and their opposites.

Example:
– being idolaters
– being idolaters, not being idolaters

This allows one to activate the pattern broadly, including its opposite aspects.

It is also worth noting that souls often claim they do not have such opposite patterns—for example, that they are not idolaters.

Another example:

A woman’s soul, dressed in light revealing clothes, with flowers in her hair, denies being a prostitute.
Adding the negation—“not being a prostitute”—may help her understand her condition.

Being a prostitute, not being a prostitute—
“Of course not, never in my life! These are not my patterns. What I do is my private matter, not prostitution.”
[—this is often what the soul says or thinks about itself.]
