Writing letters to God.
Writing letters to God is a good exercise for beginners on their way of developing contact with their own Soul and with God.
We write on paper or type on computer everything what we want to tell God and what we haven’t told Him yet. It would be good to archive such letter and come back to it after some time to realize what we have achieved with the help of God.
In the letter we can mention:
-all our problems, troubles, burdens
-claims against God, and that God doesn’t hear us, that he pretends that He’s deaf, that He didn’t help us in case of …, that He sent a misfortune, that He didn’t let us succeed when …, that our relationship with … didn’t work out etc.
-all our joys which we want to tell God about, share with Him happiness we’ve experienced
-all positive thoughts about God, which come to our head, e.g. “God, I love You because …”, “From gratitude to You, God …
God of my heart, I would like You to …
After we have written such a letter, we read it aloud, to hear each word. After we have read it we can burn it. Let’s remind You that it is a symbolical sending a letter to its addressee.
In peace and quiet we can wait about 5-10 minutes for the response, listening to your own heart. The response always arrives when we are ready to receive it.
