You Are, God, a Gift to Me – Prayer

God, my friend,

Every time I wake up, every time I smile,
I know that each of Your gifts changes the face of the Earth.

No matter how far You may seem in anyone’s opinion,
Your love for me makes me feel at ease, aware of God’s care.

You are, God, the greatest gift I have received in life.

All I want is to be with You and to remain constantly aware of You,
in this present first part of my life and in all those that follow.
