Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Reincarnation – A Group Conversation
Małgorzata,
Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Link. They were talking on TV about a six-year-old boy who has it
Roland,
My brother has several children like that from foster care
Małgorzata,
I wonder what kind of karma led him to take them in…
Roland,
I’d also bet on the Reich
Małgorzata,
God certainly has quite a task gathering children like that into one family afterward… And how does it manifest itself in your brother’s children?
Roland,
They have problems to varying degrees. The oldest, Mirek, basically doesn’t have any—you can’t really tell by looking at him. But the two younger girls simply have problems with thinking. The youngest didn’t speak until she was six years old, she only babbled something in her own way. The middle one has trouble understanding basic things, can’t cope at school, is easily deceived, and believes everything
Małgorzata,
Poor children…
Roland,
The youngest was born while her mother was drunk, I mean her mother was intoxicated
Małgorzata,
Do such mothers face any legal consequences afterward?
Roland,
I have no idea. They definitely took the children away from them. As far as I know, the parents are still living somewhere and keep drinking
Zosia,
I went to school with a girl like that. She had problems with thinking, often embarrassed herself by doing various foolish things, and she was the class laughingstock. A Catholic who did not understand the ideas of that religion. I used to joke that for her a concentration camp was a relaxation camp, whose purpose was concentration, just like at Catholic spiritual retreats. During one lesson—I no longer remember which subject—with our Biology teacher, we were talking about Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and the sentence was said: “People like that also attend our school,” when someone asked. I immediately thought of that classmate because some of the characteristic features could be seen in her appearance, and she looked somewhat different from the others. There was no need to say who it was. I thought it was foolish that nobody had told us from the very beginning, when we all ended up in the same environment, so that people would not treat the girl so harshly and would understand why she behaved in such a specific way, and instead we only found out after three years. There was no preparation of the class for the arrival of students with special needs, even though it could have made things easier, and she might have been judged differently not only by the teachers but by the whole class
Roland,
You really can tell from the appearance, but my brother’s children are actually very pretty, I would say
Zosia,
By appearance I mean physical features. I’m not saying she was unattractive, only that she had the characteristics typical of people with FAS. You also might not associate those features with the disorder just by looking, until you’ve heard about it. The skin fold at the inner corner of the eye could easily make someone wonder at first glance whether the person had Japanese ancestry, because they look identical
Roland,
I know what you mean. Those features repeat in the girls. You don’t see them in the boy, or at least not to the same extent
Zosia,
What interests me most is how this happens. Do people really not know that drinking during pregnancy can have such consequences, or do they know and still keep drinking? In the second case, educating people on the subject won’t help
Roland,
Maybe it’s a trance… something like that. I think everyone has experienced some kind of trance, for example a trance of hatred. Maybe she’s in a prolonged alcoholic trance. It’s hard to explain it any other way
Zosia,
Yes. There’s the aspect of karma and the Soul’s motivation. But I was thinking about people’s attitudes in the material world. It’s hard to believe in such enormous ignorance and indifference—or even sheer stupidity—that people, knowing how it may end, still drink and even get pregnant women drunk, yet it happens. There are two possible explanations. Lack of education, or deliberate action
Małgorzata,
I think it’s such a level of addiction that nothing and no one matters anymore except getting drunk. A Soul that has completely lost control over its incarnation because it, too, has drifted off—God knows where. Such people have blinders on; their whole reality narrows down to craving a bottle (that’s what I think)
Recently I wanted to buy denatured alcohol at a grocery store, and the saleswoman told me they no longer had any because homeless alcoholics had bought it all to drink
Zosia,
So it really is possible. I thought people could only become that deeply addicted to drugs
Roland,
If something doesn’t concern us, we won’t understand it. I’m an example of that kind of stupidity myself, although not as extreme as drinking during pregnancy. I used to go to football matches and get into fights. What’s enjoyable about getting punched in the face and risking your life? And yet it was. I couldn’t imagine life without it. Apparently such intentions were at work. It’s hard to explain
Małgorzata,
Battle trances?
Zosia,
You’d fit right in with the nationalists
Małgorzata,
Maybe rather you would have fitted in. Most young people do various strange things in their youth that are hard to explain. Later on they usually become wiser
Roland,
Everyone has something in their past—the karma of the SS. An SS man probably caused much worse consequences than a nationalist shouting slogans. Certainly no one here is a saint
Zosia,
When I look at younger people, I conclude that I was never really young. That’s the truth. Around me, even my mother feels either too old or younger than I am. She would most gladly replace me with some hedonistic party girl, a carefree spirit, because life would be easier for her
Roland,
Without even getting into spiritual matters—although the intentions of the Soul itself are probably very significant—the environment shapes a great deal. As someone raised in a dysfunctional environment, I know how difficult it is to change certain values, although it is still possible. You have to work on yourself. For some people it’s easier to be “good people” from the very beginning
Zosia,
Here I can agree. Not everyone has an easy life. We come into the world with different opportunities, and they are not equal because of karma, family, trauma, inherited talents, blocked talents, and many different factors. The important thing is that you didn’t become a nationalist. My environment isn’t perfect either, and I have all kinds of people around me, but I didn’t have it as hard as I could have because I didn’t have to grow up with people whom I consider toxic and dysfunctional. That part of my family emigrated abroad before I was born, and as I was growing up I came to the conclusion that there is nothing for which I am more grateful to God than that. Had it been otherwise, the situation would probably have ended with: “Either him or me under this roof,” once the last straw had come
