A Prayer Different From All Others

Questions About the Meaning of One’s Own Religion. Prayer

These questions were posed by an acquaintance who was searching for the truth about her own religion. She asked them of God, not of priests or fellow believers.

In the dotted spaces, enter the name of your own religion. As usual, read the prayer for at least 14 days, so that you can hear your own voice.

Inquisitiveness pays off, because in Tibet alone there are several hundred Buddhist sects, as well as the religion called Bon. In India, we encounter not hundreds but thousands of religions in different branches. It is similar in the United States.

Which religion, then, is the best, and which dogmas are more correct?

Please open now, God, my own heart and my Soul.

I accept that I was born and live, and was raised, in the world of my own religion called ……….

I accept that I was born and live, and was raised, in the world of the religion of my ancestors, the religion called ……….

God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now whether ………….. this religion of mine is the best and the most valuable.

God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now whether ………….. my religion is full of truth and is the only correct one. Love, Friend of my heart, please make me aware now whether ………….. my religion is the proper path to God. God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now which elements, doctrines, and rites of ………….. this religion of mine carry perfection, are right, and possess saving power. God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now whether followers of other religions and sects are sinful and will therefore experience divine condemnation.

God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now whether a priest of my religion is the best and proper intermediary between me and You, God.

God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now in what way ………….. this religion of mine is better than those other religions and harmful denominations.

God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now whether ………….. my religion is based on magic, superstitions, sorcery, and idolatry.

God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now whether the high priest or priest of my religion is God’s representative on Earth, and whether he is closer to the Creator than I and my dear Soul are. God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now which elements, doctrines, and rites of ………….. this religion of mine are idolatrous and which are proper.

God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now whether followers of other sects deserve condemnation or my love. God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now whether followers of other religions and sects will experience salvation despite not observing the rules and rites of ………….. this religion of mine. God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now whether I myself now bring more of God’s Love into the lives of others because of my membership in ………….. this religion of mine

God, Giver of Life, please make me aware now which elements, doctrines, and rites of ………….. this religion of mine come directly from You, God, and lead me to God through the path of the heart

Excerpt from the text —Sausages? —Premium Reserve from Mrs. Leakall. —An exceptional offering to the god… —for an exceptional prayer. —You are on the right track. —How exactly will you deliver these sausages to him? —I will fry them. The offering of sausages will rise directly to Offler, the Holy Crocodile, in the form of their aroma. —And then you… will eat them? —That is a common misunderstanding. The true sausage essence goes to the god Offler. He eats… the spirit of the sausages. We priests eat only their earthly shell. —That explains why the smell of sausages is better than their taste. —You should become a theologian. —What prayer will accompany Mrs. Leakall’s finest sausages? —The usual one. —That money should fall from the sky. —More precisely: 150,000 dollars. —A few sausages may not be enough to obtain something so… exceptional. —But… one can try. Before selling one deity, I scrubbed its little face with a potato brush… The Soul was disgusted… [23:03:20] Sławomir Majda: Did you see that? [23:03:26] Danusia: Yes [23:04:41] Sławomir Majda: our trading in devotional objects, selling figurines and images of deities, scrubbing a deity, including for worshipping them, for sale, and not only this [23:04:50] Sławomir Majda: And which one of them was complaining? [23:05:55] Danusia: There is a whole crowd of them here — Link [23:06:04] Danusia: Did I do wrong by putting them up for sale? [23:06:11] Sławomir Majda: But which one resisted? [23:06:29] Danusia: The most dissatisfied were those from Tibet, from the thangkas [23:06:59] Sławomir Majda: There may still be several of them complaining there. [23:07:05] Sławomir Majda: How many did you have? [23:07:18] Danusia: About 10 thangkas alone [23:07:43] Danusia: Including Mahakala [23:07:58] Sławomir Majda: You were armed to the teeth with gods [23:08:09] Danusia: Yeees… [23:08:40] Sławomir Majda: An acquaintance in Russia had entire walls covered with icons [23:09:02] Sławomir Majda: But somehow the image was not very willing to fulfil prayers Reply

The same applies to black things. I am convinced that reselling or giving them to someone else is also idolatry. Because although you yourself are “cleansing yourself,” you still popularise it among others. That is a greater “sin” than possessing it. The only thing that remained was my pre-war picture of an angel leading children across a little bridge, but I decided that it represented my own Soul Reply
