The Informant Complex Among Clairvoyants
I have met quite a number of people displaying what I would define as the clairvoyant informant complex, so clearly that it deserves its own definition.
The pattern of the clairvoyant informant complex was brought out particularly vividly by the priests of the Holy Inquisition and was later portrayed in several Marvel X-Men films. In the latter version, there are clairvoyants who, in exchange for money, identify other clairvoyants, usually so they can be eliminated.
A quote from the film reads:
“No matter how much you pretend to be someone else, I know who you are. If there’s anything worth knowing about mutants, I know it.”
This clairvoyant is exceptionally greedy and interested only in money in exchange for information that leads to the destruction of others. He is willing to betray every one of the “mutant X-Men” for the right price. He is capable of identifying people who possess the “X-gene.”
The Dominican friars and the priests of the Inquisition made use of this clairvoyant informant pattern not only in films but also in historical reality.
One may suppose that clairvoyant individuals used this mechanism to eliminate competition within their own circles.
As described in the records of inquisitorial trials, it was often a man who informed the clergy that he had personally witnessed acts of witchcraft performed by a neighbor or another alleged witch.
These supposed acts of witchcraft usually consisted of claims that “the woman transformed herself into a frog (or a goat, a ram, or another horned creature) and, before the eyes of the clairvoyant informant, engaged in sexual intercourse with a horned being, a goat, a ram, or someone else.”
Sometimes women were accused merely of the customary act of flying on a broomstick, which the clairvoyant accuser claimed to have seen.
Such neighborhood denunciations became the cause of torture and the deaths of many people.
People carrying the informant complex eliminated rival magicians and witches both in the past and continue to do so today, often presenting it as a form of “public service,” although they are equally willing to do it for money.
According to this perspective, the karmic consequence is that although such individuals may perceive astral worlds very clearly, they are unable to earn a living from those abilities in any meaningful way.

In that article I discuss the probable background of the clairvoyant perceptions experienced by people who carry these patterns.
