Planet Venus. A Prayer

I do not study astrology or planetary movements. However, in view of Cayce’s readings, I considered it necessary to heal my relationship with this sphere. By using the power of words, we can speak about what does not suit us and what may be inspired by the influence of the solar system upon the Soul. In this way, we can surrender to the Light the consequences of the Soul’s past mistakes which, having perceived them, God may wish to bring into the light of day.

In many texts, I gradually surrender my entire being to God: for example, DNA, chakras, auras, and all energies. Since there are influences and movements above our heads in the earthly sky, I wish to be free from negative influences that may cause harm.

Cayce advised one person:

“Since these are only lights, they serve only as a candle, so that a person does not stumble while walking in darkness. Do not focus on the light of the candle; focus instead on what it may lead you toward in your service. Thus, the vibrations of numbers, metals, or stones are merely influences necessary to achieve harmony with the Creative Forces; just as the sound of a sung prayer is not the song itself, nor the message carried by it, but an aid given to those who find strength in serving the Lord. Therefore, use them in order to achieve harmony. You ask: in what way? When you ask for information, you will learn what the next step should be.

[Should this person wear any stones, and how will they receive their message?]

Yes, if they are stones. And how can this be learned? They do not send messages! They only attune the self so that it can receive the message — divine inspiration. Do not listen for messages from a stone, a number, or even a star; for they are nothing more than servants of the Lord and Ruler of all that exists — including you!” (707-2)

What matters, however, is that a person considers the influence vibrations have upon their life, because vibrations are their life in every aspect. The nature of one’s vibrations is a record of one’s existence. Toward what aims and ideals are one’s vibrations directed? This becomes visible in one’s actions, in the people and events one attracts as circumstances or experiences. If a person notices within themselves a tendency to question certain relationships or circumstances, they may desire a genuine spiritual search.

Thus, it will often be given to you when you pray, withdraw into solitude, or enter deeply within yourself; and your Father, who sees what is hidden, will reward you openly. Once you attune your inner self to these vibrations, to these necessary paths of development for your own Soul, you are given a reward — given through vibrations, because they are one. And although, in secular or material terms, they may appear highly unreal, nevertheless until the end of the Earth, until the beginning and end of time, vibrations that speak the truth about the forces of creative energy form a unity and — when attuned — unite people of the same disposition, because all are of one spirit. They are different variations of the same creation, like sparks moved by that which sets them in motion; for each is a particle of that original Creative Energy — God. (2842-2)

God, please open my heart.

I have accepted that, as the physical centre of the heart, the thymus stimulates the influences of love. I have accepted that the way this feeling is expressed, as in the case of other influences, depends upon my will and the will of my Soul. I have accepted that Love in the heart and thymus ennobles when it is shown selflessly to others. I have accepted that Love in the heart and thymus heals with its full power.

I have forgiven the fact that God’s Love in my heart, through the will of my Soul and its personality, sometimes turned toward selfishness and self-worship. I have forgiven the fact that God’s Love in my heart was used for destruction and acts of harm.

I have accepted that the higher influences of the planet Venus shape my open, sincere, and loving disposition, including my ability to make friends wherever I go. I have accepted that the higher influences of the planet Venus give me an innate sense of beauty, expressed through various artistic activities in my home. I have accepted that I express the higher influences of the planet Venus through my musical preferences, and even through a talent for singing and poetry.

I have accepted that the influence of the planet Venus is the main influence in my life experience, and that the channel through which the higher influences manifest is my own earthly home.
