Seeking God in Other People
At least in my own case, searching for God in other people, beings, souls, and their earthly personalities did not prove successful. For many years I acquired not merely opinions, but what I regard as concrete knowledge, that I am a single earthly personality of my Soul. I see the souls of living people and I am able to speak with them.
For another person, however, I will always remain a human being possessing an immortal soul.
I know people who strive to become God, to manifest themselves as God, or as a divine being. The latter is often regarded as something desirable. On internet forums one can find many posts presenting arguments in support of such aspirations. When an earthly personality expects the manifestation or realization of its own divinity, the Soul receives a signal that it is to become a living earthly god somewhere in a Hindu village.
God, the giver of our life, may allow even such desires and whims of an individual to manifest themselves, yet He does not legitimize those actions, and responsibility for the consequences of idolatrous actions belongs solely to their originator. As the Creator cuts off access to energy, the search for it begins among astral beings and groups, archangels, and similar entities. The result is energetic attachments to the chakras and the growth of the ego of a person who wishes to proclaim himself or herself a god incarnated on Earth.
During many years of work with spirituality and regression practices, I have recognized numerous mechanisms that can easily lead a soul into this form of idolatry. A few affirmations spoken unconsciously may be enough for the hidden desire for one’s own divinity to begin gaining strength.
In other beings we may seek not God Himself, but rather the degree to which a given individual is open to expressing and allowing the flow of divine energies—that is, energies originating from God Himself. Being God and allowing divine energies to flow through a person are not the same thing.
At most, we may perceive in a person’s energies or in the effects of their creations how God accepts that person and how He responds to their requests. Simply Link operating at the level of divine light does not mean that one has discovered a hidden God within oneself; it means only that one has access to His divine energies.
In a similar way, Jesus had such access, as did many others before him.

“If every evil word is abhorrent to God, then how great must be the abhorrence of a wicked word that denies God, a wicked word that publicly acknowledges a foreign god, an evil oath sworn by a human being, a non-substantial creature? When we are asked to swear such an oath, we should remember the words of Jesus: ‘But I say to you, do not swear at all.’ For if one who swears by heaven insults the throne of God, and one who swears by the earth commits impiety by placing what is called ‘the footstool of God’s feet’ on the same level as God, and one who swears by his own head sins, then how great an offense should we consider an oath sworn upon another’s fate? For we must also remember the words: ‘On the day of judgment, people will give account for every careless word they speak.’ And what word could be more careless than an oath that signifies a denial of God?”
