Writing Letters to God
Writing Letters to God is a good exercise for beginners on the way to develop contact with their own soul and God.
Save on paper or computer note, all You want to say to God and what You have never said to God. It is good to archivise the letter and return to it after a while to realize what has been achieved with God”s help.
In the letter, we can mention:
– All of our worries, troubles, overwhelming burdens.
– All of our resentments. And the fact, that God does not hear us, that he is pretending to be deaf.
That God ever gave no help on …..
That he send misery…,
That because of God we did not succed, when we wanted…
That we failed in relationship with somebody ……
-All of our joy which we want to tell God, to share with him our experienced happiness.
-All positive thoughts about God that come to mind. “I love You God, because ….., from gratitude to You God ….”
-I would like You God of my heart …….
We read aloud the written letter from a sheet of paper, so as to hear every word. After reading, we can burn it down. We can assume, that this is a symbolic transfer of a letter to the addressee. In silence and concentration, we can wait for about 5-10 minutes for an answer, listening to the heart. The answer always comes, as rapidly as we are open to receive it.
